You are so formiliar to me. Lived in Oviedo all my life until last year. I had a beauty shop there until 2003, I am a photographer, and I worked part time (30-40 hours per week) at Publix in Oviedo in pahrmacy and photo lab.  Do you think we know each other? I was diagnosed with FMS in 2003. It has kicked my butt, and taken my life. I have just started a month ago with a new Dr. I’m on several medications, 300mg effexorxl, 100mg zoloft, 4mg 3x day of zanaflex, 40mg oxycontin 3x day, ambien, prilosec, .5mg xanax 3x day, alegra d 2x a day.The new medication is sibutramine 10mg (generic for Meridia) I am forgetting something. It has started to work in the last week and a half, Thank God. I thought nothing would ever work. I have been through several treatments, until now NO relief. I really haved enjoyed your site. God Bless you for your work and dedication to others. You are truely an amaxing woman. My husband and I are part of a motorcycle misistry, our base there was in Daytona; The Tribe of Judah. I haven’t been able to go on runs in the last 4 years, I miss it terribly. Look the Tribe up on the web, I’m sure you would enjoy reading about us. Ben Priest, our national president and founder has his testimony on the site, it is an awesome read. The president for the Fl chapter of the Tribe is a wonderful woman named Joan DeCamp who lives in Daytona. I look forward to getting back to riding and witnessing, if the treatment I’m on doesn’t work, I will be giving yours a try. Thank you so much for being the person you are!

My sister in law (a dietician) sent us your site address this am. We are very excited (my husband and I)to learn of you. I have FM,and am in a bad way. It has totally disrupted my life in every way. I am very interested in the friendly foods list,as I intend to modify my diet asap.Is there more info. on this subject? Example, I eat Quaker Instant Oatmeal for breakfast,is that OK? I noticed Little Debbies oatmeal was on the OH NO list. Thanks so much for your help, your site, and your interest in helping others with this terrible affliction. We have regained hope. Cody

I went thru selling my home and traveling the past month. I am now visiting my son in TX before he leaves for Iraq. I was on the protocol for a few weeks before leaving and felt much better. I am now trying to get all the stuff I need to do it again as I am in a LOT of pain and trying to adjust emotionally to giving up my home. I so appreciate your help, Anne and all the tips you have given me to get better. I am going to start this method TODAY! I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue in 1991 and with FMS in 1998. On my own I had managed my symptoms very well through good eating, sleep and exercise. However, I’m in a bad crash of symptoms right now and need something new to get back on track. Thanks for a new method to try!

As per Anne’s request, I wanted to post my personal experience with the Fibro & Fatigue center (FFC). After about 9 months of treatment with the center, I can honestly say I had zero improvement and left a much poorer person. They will take every cent and I have yet to meet anyone who has sustained any real improvement. The center and doctors who work there have very little flexibility in their treatment plan and follow what seems like a very strict protocol. I am now seeing a doctor who tailored a treatment to fit my needs and I have seen tremendous improvement. Feel free to contact me. -Carrie

My question is, how long does it take to get relief? I am completely miserable and almost non-functional having great difficulty trying to work and just keep up with minimal daily tasks due to the pain in my knees, ankles and thighs, just in the last couple of weeks, I have developed tingling and aching in my left shoulder and arm. Mrs.Hillebrand read the August 2006 Remedyfind Newsletter where I was a “Featured Member”( an article that I wrote about all my illnesses) She sent me an e-mail telling me about Ya’lls site so I came to check it out. I printed many pages for Resource, and plus my Brain Fog is working overtime right now. I have bookmarked your site, and I plan on reading everything you have. Everything is starting to make sense.I am so glad that Anne took the time to send me a quick note. I am absolutly miserable, and have been so sick since I was diagnosed at 35. I am almost 41 now, I have SERVED MY TIME....I am ready to be released and it looks as if FIBROFIX is going to PARDON me.MY body feels as if I have been locked up in a prison, I have lost 6 years of my life to this disease. I am very hopeful that your method will give me relief.Oh and by the way....I totally agree with you about Mucinex and Pro-Health....I was on their list for a long time....ONE BIG SALES MACHINE.I opted out on their mailings. It is going to be hard to give up my diet sprite’s, but as long as I can have Iced Tea....less the lemon(which I Love) I will be happy. I need to drink more water. I have cut out ALL CAFFINE years ago, because of my sleeping problems. And to think I used to be a PRO Sleeper, in my early 20’s I could sleep 12 hours easily. Now I am lucky if I get 2 hours, and that is not consecutive. My Dr. and I have finally found something to help me sleep...Seroquel, please don’t tell me I can’t take it..I have been sleeping 8-9 hours a night on it.and I am dreaming, so I think I am getting good deep sleep.I am very excited to find your site, I wish I could continue to read it right now, but I have been sitting here too long, I am hurting, and my eyes are hurting...so I will come back tomorrow. Anne Hillebrand at FibroFixSunday, 8/13/06, 4:09 PM

Hi, Joyce. I wasn’t angry about it like you, but that was kind of what I thought. And I sure didn’t understand about Grace. And I didn’t seem to need anything at the time. We were healthy, working and happy. I wasn’t in touble, or in church looking; nobody was beating me up about religion. I wasn’t afraid of dying or even what would happen to me after I die. But one God made all of us and everything that is. All love and all that is good comes from God. You can see that in nature where we haven’t messed it up yet. It’s perfect. We’re all gonna die. And when we do, we’ll meet God. He left complete instructions for us. Just because I didn’t know it or understand it or believe it didn’t make it a lie. God came to Earth as His own Son so that we could see Him live, then die, then come back to life, then go back to Heaven. Because otherwise, we wouldn’t believe it was possible to die and have life again. We would not have believed Heaven exists. Or know how much He loves us. Or that God is in control of all that. As for the wars, God says don’t hurt each other. If we obeyed his Word, there would be no wars. All parents would be good to their kids. No one would steal. Everyone would be treated fairly and taken care of physically and emotionally. No one would lie. No one would be murdered or assaulted. But not everyone listens and not everyone hears His Word. I wasn’t a gangster or a bank robber or anything before I accepted Christ four years ago. I was a pretty good person. But I am a different person now. The scripture in the Holy Bible that best describes me now is II Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away behold all things are become new.¿ I got a clean slate. And I live differently. God promises that if anyone will confess that they are a sinner, which I did, and ask Him to come into their heart, which I did, He will and will live there forever. And He will be their Father and forgive everything they have ever done and everything they ever will do and love them regardless and give them eternal life in paradise with Him when they die. The alternative, which would have happened whether I knew it or believed it or not, would be eternal separation from all love and all that is good. He expects us to love Him, pray to Him and learn and follow His instructions to the best of our ability. He is my Father and I am looking forward to meeting Him. Annie

You have an interesting site BUT you have take your religion and shove it.... As far as I’m concerned it’s all a bunch of very very old bible stories that may have or may NOT have ever existed... And all the killings that continue in our WORLD in the name of religion, HOLY WARS...I say Bull Crap to be nice.

Dear Anne: I cried as I sat and read your website. I have so many of the symptoms for FMS. My family just doesn’t understand how bad I feel almost continually and it was a great emotional release to know that there is someone who does! I have so many questions I don’t even know where to begin. I find the Ph factor very interesting. I have O+ blood type and have always had an acidic system, which is typical of O’s. I bought a litmus paper Ph kit from the drugstore. However, I am always about 6.0 no matter what I eat. I learned years ago to stay away from sodas and alcohol. Too much fruit and tomatoes give me mouth ulcers. Im I doing the test wrong? I put the strips under my tongue until moist. I have been going to a rhuematologist for the last 2 years. He has been treating me for osteoarthritis, but except for some relief with anti-inflammatory meds (which upset my stomach), I still hurt, ache, am tired, and usually overwhelmed at the pace life keeps me at along with dealing with how I feel all the time. Any advice you can give will be appreciated! Keep up the good work - Karen in Jax

Thanks to a good friend who passed this web page on to me since he knew I’ve been suffering with FMS, CFS & close to 90% of all possible symptoms you have listed & of which I have known for 16+ years and has been getting worse as I get older.I have been through every test possible before I was diagnosed 16 years ago and have learned on my own what works best for me to handle one day at a time. I have bought and read text books such as “Fibromyalfia & Chronic Myofascial Pain Syndeome” a Survival Manual By: Devin Starlanyl, M.D. & Mary Ellen Copeland, M.S., M.A. on the whole syndrome which inlightened me and my family profoundly and I also had a subscription to a monthly Fibromyalgia Network magazine which kept me informed on new discoveries to try (meds etc.)as well as many articles from lay people as yourself & Doctors. Now I will print out and read what the good Lord has revealed to you. The Lord Jesus has been my strong tower all these years & still is!! God bless your ministry to help others. I look forward to reading your articles and learning something new. Then I found your site. It is all there. All the symptoms - amazing, all the concerns, all the questions. I am printing it all and will read it again later today - hopefully to finally find a name for all this and convince my physician to consider it. Almost as difficult at the symptoms is the frustration of appearing to be a hypochondriac. Thank you for your website. Sounds wonderful - have a friend with fibromyalgia and I will share this with her. Have you ever heard of using a small trampoline to keep the lymphatic system moving through the body. I have read of this in several books. Seems that the lymphatic fluid does not move as the blood flows in arteries and veins. By these prescribed exercises, the lymphatic system circulates through the body and is beneficial. Believe I have the books here and if you are interested, I will look them up. Also have a book on keeping the ph at a certain level. Don’t drink or anything with citric acid, plus other things. A while since I read these. Great work. Thanks. Anna

Well, Phyliss you are going to be even happier when you read the Right Doctor page. Dr. Harris is right behind Universal Studios on Turkey Lake Road. He’s my doc and the first to use this method. Gets 15 to 20 Fibros every month from all over coming to him as new patients because the treatment works. You get an appointment fast and you’ll love Dr. Tom and the entire staff. He doesn’t advertise that he does this because he’s an Internal Med doc, but he accepts new Fibro patients and treats them great. You could not be more blessed than living here in Orlando. You don’t know how I felt and I kept reading your site, I felt like someone really did understand. I have felt like I was all alone in the world in the twilght zone. I tried Guaifenesin for a cold and found it helped but my doctor would not keep giving it to me, she said it was only for 30 days. I had not heard that it helped FMS until I read about you. Do you know any rhemo. MDS in the Orlando area that understand FMS and are taking patients??!!! I have found a bunch of quacks for the most part. After complaining for a long, long, long time with neck problems/pain, finally an MRI showed blood clots and a hematologist told my rhem.doctor to check for FMS. How is that for the expert, a laugh right (I would laught if it didn’t hurt so much). God bless you, I’m glad you are there.

Due to the Agri-Industry using too much phosphorus to raise our food the food is short in copper, sulphur, and zinc. Copper in needed by every cell in the body. The best ‘supplement’ for copper is to wear 100% copper against the skin. The green on the skin is where the body is a little slow on the absorbtion of the supplement. Wearing copper has reduced my pain levels and mental fog. Especially wearing at night is recommended because I read somewhere this is when the body does the best absorption job. The two major pharmaceutical companies now own the farm chemical producers. As a friend of mine said, ‘follow the money’. The pharmaceutical industry is out to take all our money whether it kills us or not.

OMG. I have felt awful for nearly a year. Diarrhea, for two years straight. Grind my teeth - for years. Neck pain. Very poor balance, feel unsteady, clumsy. Brain fog- oh yes. Bilateral carpel tunnel. Muscle aches and pains. Fatigue- sleep poorly. My symptoms were present in mild form for years. Three years ago I had the gastric bypass surgery. I lost 190 lbs, which is wonderful. But any surgery is stressful and of course dealing with body image issues, the complete change of eating habits - etcetc, all were stressful, tho ome was “good” stress. After surgery I had non stop diarrhea for two years plus. I was working out, and got very muscular. Last July I started feeling WEAK after excercising and my thigh muscles twitched and shook. I stopped excercising. My surgeon thought it was a Vit B1 deficiency (we malabsorb-) and had me give myself B1 shots.Did not help, tho my thiamine levels were twice normal. Then a couple monthes ago I started having bouts with constipation. Then one night - at work- I felt like I had to pass gas. But what came out was this jelly-like stuff....in my pants. Yikes. I had a colonoscopy and the dx was IBS tho doc was stupid and didnt do a biopsy. My PMD ran some immune tests to r/o lupus, etc. ANA was negative. He thinks its probably fibro. But I have never heard of the saliva test and I dont think HE knows about it either. Can I obtain the test strips???? How???? Because of my surgery I only absorb Calcium CITRATE. But I cant think of a reason why it would be harmful to chew Tums, except for the risk of kidney stones.....but if we dont absorb it, will it help the fibro??????? I am SO thankful I found your site. It was like a bolt of lightning.....80% of the symptoms you list-=- I have. Do you have an online support group? How do I join????? Thank you and god bless you Annie

God bless you for this web site! Our symptoms are identical. I’ve been suffering terribly since 2004. My 20 year, very lucrative, and (previously) enjoyable career here in Orlando went down in flames, and I am on disability. My primary-care Dr. (Vipin Popat, an internist, also at Sand Lake) is sick of seeing me, & thinks I am a post-menopausal, hot-flashing, self-centered hypochondriac. He told me a year ago that I “really needed to see a psychiatrist”. (Turns out that was good advice. I really needed the Paxil to deal with this.) My constant research (books, articles, internet, etc.) very obviously irritates him. I’ve had to beg him for referrals to specialists in my search for answers! (God bless the rheumatologist & the endocrinologist...they have been somewhat helpful with symptoms.) The only reason I haven’t changed primary-care docs is that I assumed they would all just think I was a crazy woman. I’m going to see if I can meet with Dr. Harris. I’m in so much pain, I’m crying now as I write this. I can’t stand the person I’ve become...the constant suffering is consuming. I had the carpel tunnel thing last year, with a severe trigger finger turning my right hand inward...it went away with Phys. Ther. For the last two months, the worst pain has been in my back. I’m in Phys. Ther. again, and I had an MRI of my back a few days ago, plus another MRI of a large lump above my left knee. I read about guafenesin (spelled right?) on another site...sounds like a miracle. You say Dr. Harris, here in Orlando, prescribes this?

Beth Monday, 4/10/06, 2:14 PM I truly believe the Lord lead me to this website. I have suffered from FMS & CFS for many years now. It had about beat me completely down till I was about to give up all hope. So many tears, prayers and yes...anger! Why me, Lord? I try to do so much for you, trying to live as you have me too. How can I get out and help others if I am in so much pain and in bed suffering all the time? So now, I am really mad! Mad enough to get up....research for anything!! Something! I refuse to let this thing destroy the rest of my life! The Doctors have been my worst nightmare! What’s wrong with all these so called “doctors”? Bet they would feel differently if it was them or their close family members suffering like us. Been on Anne’s remedy for about 2 wks now. Something’s happening. Not sure yet...but know it’s better. Just staying so tired, so sleepy...more than usual of course. But have discovered that it is from my body working so hard getting rid of all those toxins. Made me feel better when I found this out. Thanks Anne!!! I am going to keep this up and see how much better I get! From: North Carolina Email: jbbeacham@cox.net

Tricia Schlosser Sunday, 4/9/06, 7:01 AM Hi Anne, I found your web-site Friday and I was so excited. I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis in 1989 and Fibromyalgia in 2001 as well as hypothyroidism, allergies, asthma, rhinitis. I also have protruding discs in the cervical and lumbar areas. Needless to say I’ve been hurting! I went to Walgreens yesterday and bought the Walgreens brand of Mucinex with 400 mg of Gaui and purchased Sudafed non-drying sinus with 200 mg of Guai and 30 Pseudoephedrine AND the TUMS Tropical Fruit Ultra. I started taking everything yesterday afternoon and I must tell you that this morning my cervial pain has improved so much, my balance is much better and I just FEEL BETTER all over!!!!!!! I would like to know if the TUMS will interfere with my thyroid medicine and when should I test my PH levels? Thank you so very much for sharing your discoveries! You are truly one of God’s dearest angels and I will be recommending you to others that suffer with fibro. God Bless!!! From: Spring Hill, Florida Email: lamalu@aol.com

Richard N. Keene Sunday, 4/2/06, 2:53 PM Hi, I faxed my Doctor the medication part of your Website last week and he called me today (Sunday), and said it was very informative and gave me an Rx for Guai.and told me to get 30mg. Sudafed to take along with it. His name is Robert W. Mosca. D.O., P.A. located at 807 STATE ROAD 44, New Smyrna Beach. Tel. 386 428 5554, FAx 386 409 7971. He is a young Dr. who listens and reads the info. that I give him (which is unheard of in this part of Florida) I had the experience of taking Vicks Formula 44 for a cold years back and I noticed that the pain was subdued when ever I took the Med. I had told the Dr. I was going to at the time and he reluctionly gave me 4 bottles of Guai. that he had as samples, needless to say it didn’t work, reading your site I learned that it is the combo of the Guai. and the antihistamine is the key. I have been suffering with this for well over 15 years and was even lucky enough to get SS disability because of it. I’m 69 years old and have lost all those years of productivity due to this ailment. God Bless You and your selfishness to spread this information! Sincerely, Richard N. Keene From: Edgewater, Fl. Tracey Thursday, 2/16/06, 6:20 AM All of these fibromyalgia symptoms began the day I took my first Levaquin pill (an anti-biotic in the class known as ‘Fluoroquinolones’. The exact same thing happened to my friend, who began fibromyalgic symptoms one month after taking Cipro, also in the same class of Fluoroquinolones. If you read the side effects on either of these drugs (all 10 or so antibiotics from this class will have the same adverse reactions) you will see every single symptom of FMS on there! I believe if many of us trace back our prescription history, we will find a connection! The first Fluoroquinolone drug was introduced in the 1950’s, and since that time many, many of them have been pulled off the market due to fatalities and overwhelming complaints of severe adverse reactions. It is strongly believed to be the cause of The Golf War Syndrome and it is also responsible for the continued sufferings of the Postal Workers who were treated with Cipro for Anthrax Exposure. Please trace your prescription histories! If there is a common cause for FMS...and we can prove it - maybe we can pull these drugs off the market or at least limit their use to life and death situations only! Thank You, Tracey. JESSICA Thursday, 2/2/06, 9:20 PM I am so glad I ran across this site, it gives me hope. I’ve had the worst time of my life, I just had a full Historectomy and was diagnosed with ankylosing spondilitis as the most recent illness. I have had to live with Fibromyalgia for the last 5yrs and it’s changed my whole life, the amount of pain I have lived with is getting absolutely intolerable specially after the recent discoveries. I’ve been through some pretty radicle treatments from taking up to 5 antibiotics at a time to now taking quimotherapy for the ankylosing spondilitis, with so many issues it’s hard to determine which one is is the one giving me a hard time, but i know this that, ever since before I was diagnosed with Fibro there has not been a day without pain, so I am so willing to try anythng at this point. What you say about the acidity seems to make sence. If there is anything that I could help with please let me know and THANKS FOR YOUR HARD WORK ON THE SITE. Sincerly Jessica Shaw From: SHAW Email: jzlove916@sbcglobal.net

Sydney Greaves Monday, 1/30/06, 10:32 AM I have been tentatively diagnosed with fibro, it started with an infection of Fifth Disease caught from my then 1st grader in June 2001. Took 3 mos to get feeling and strength back in feet and hands, but wrists remained weak. The 911 attacks I think were what sent me “over the edge”. I have had great doctors, very supportive and willing to try things, so I feel very lucky. Even so, I did not find the right “mix” of treatments until late 2003 -- Paxil, Tizanadine (muscle relaxer), multi-vit, and Lysine. I am much better than I was, people we saw in UK 2 years ago were amazed at the change in me, but I still have to be careful. I am stocking up on Tums and getting rid of my diet soda (sob!) with great hopes. Thanks for your story, and thanks to my sis in FL for sending the site to me. Anne Hillebrand Tuesday, 1/24/06, 9:28 PM Thanks for the encouragement, Glenda. The site is here for you. Because of the internet and the good people at Homestead (where we rent our web space) you seem just as close as someone right down the street. But it still is amazing when we get an email from someone in Tazmania saying that they were able to walk their dog themselves that morning for the first time in 2 years; to know that we were able to help make that happen. All we ask is that you get better, let us know if there is anything we can do to help, and then PLEASE tell others. Like it the quote from Dale on the front page - “Until they all get help, we go broke or we drop dead trying.” In HIS grip, Annie From: Orlando, FL Email: annehillebrand@bellsouth.net

Glenda Abasta Tuesday, 1/24/06, 5:42 PM I am really grateful that i have found a website from a FMS survivor dedicated to FMS sufferers like me. Your effort to reach out to people with this condition not only in America but throughout the world to bring hope and help of being free from pain and lead a normal life is quite astonishing. I can see that it was God who made you instrument, by letting you experience it, find a treatment for it, and eventually share your discoveries to other people who suffers. Godbless, and long life! Keren Palethorpe Monday, 1/23/06, 1:56 AM I found your site by sheer luck and I think it may be what I’m looking for. I have had similar symptoms for 2 years or more and the doctors don’t seem to be getting anywhere besides charging me a lot of money. I’m going to approach my doctor and see if he will support me while I try this out. I applaud you for what you are doing here because sometimes people have to find the cures for themselves. I believe we are responsible for our own health and doctors are there to help us but unfortunately some doctors have a “god complex” and think that if it’s not in their medical books it’s just not so. This delays finding cures or suitable treatments for people like us. Keep up the good work Regards Keren From: Australia Email: kerob1@optusnet.com.au

Hi Fern! That’s my Explorer you saw. I was in Celebration to pick up some paper work. We try every way we know how to reach people with FMS, CFS, RLS. In your case we were able to do that. If your doctor won’t listen, Dr. Harris is right behind Universal Studios in Orlando. He was the first to treat using this method, and I was the first patient on it. We are all so blessed that he listened. Start with the Tricks and Tips - DO them. It’s the combination that makes everything work. We’ve had people get up and running the same day just using that. You can get Walgreen’s brand of Guaifenesin if you need less expensive. It’s not slow release, but we don’t feel that Mucinex is either. And FibroFix tells any places we know to get better or less expensive meds, etc. If you need the prescription meds, your doctor should help. Get better, let me know if you need anything, and TELL OTHERS. Millions of people are crying in their sleep and don’t know about this effective treatment method. All the info is free and we aren’t selling anything. In HIS grip, Annie

I’ve just been to the doctors (rheum.) and he said that what I’ve been experiencing for almost three years now is fibromyalgia. I’ve been seeing him regulary during the course of everything that’s gone on with me. An ache here, a pain there. Not able to walk all that well. Get’s worse then gets better. I am having a hard time accepting this for what it is. I am not into not feeling well enough to live live without having any set backs (the aching, tired feeling I’ve been experiencing moreso over the last month or so and it seems to be getting worse in some areas moreso than others. I am a single mom with two young, active children. I want to be able to live a normal life and do the things I enjoy like getting out in the yard to cleanup and straightening up inside and getting ready for the holidays. I don’t mean to complain but I am really tired of feeling this way. Any help, hints, tips and good advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Wendy Mousseau

HELP!! Would like to use the South Beach Diet. Seems like a lot of recipes have tomatoes, lemon, etc in them, as those are usually good diet foods. But we can’t have them due to acidity. And I need tea for the caffiene, but it’s not on the ok list. Anyone know of a way to get South Beach Diet recipes that would work in our situation? Or what to substitute when the recipe calls for acidy stuff? We are not good cooks, so this is not something Dale and I can figure out for ourselves. Sure appreciate any help. Maybe we can add the info to the web site. Annie

Had a great trip. .. Weather in Utah was gorgeous, and the mountains were an amazement. .. #2 boy’s house is almost right on top of the Wasatch Fault. .. On “the bench” at Cottonwood Canyons in Salt Lake City. .. Miss Sassy Belle Devereaux dog was a champ on the flight out and back. .. Big thanks to all at Delta Airlines for making it easy to bring her along. .. The attendants are terrific!! .. We are very glad to be back home in the South, though, with low altitude, high humidity, okra and sweet tea. ..

Anne: I found your site and decided to give it a try. I was diagnosed with Fibro 20 years ago and have had symptoms most of my life. I have tried all of the “conventional” treatments (lots of combinations of different drugs) and do not do well with any of them. I suffer from severe IBS as a result of the Fibro also. My pain level had gotten to a consistent 7 or 8 on the scale of 1 - 10 and I had to try something. I work fulltime and need to figure out a way to “keep on keeping on”! I went to my doctor and got his approval for the treatment and he supports it fully. I have been taking the Musinex because I have not received my order from the website you listed. I am taking Zoloft instead of Paxil becuase I had taken Paxil before and did not do well on it. I do feel better. I have been following the program for 2 weeks and I would say that my pain level is now 2 - 3! Quite an improvement from 7-8! One question: Is it safe to take so many Tums? I take thyroid medicine in the am and it says not to take antacids for 4 hours before or after - so I start my Tums at noon. The package says not to take more than 8 a day for a 2 week period. What is your take on this? And lastly, thank you for this site and sharing your discoveries with our fellow Fibro sufferers!

I have spent the last few hours reading the fibrofix web site. I am anxious to begin the treatment. I have two other diseases, Moyamoya Disease (MM) and Wegener’s Granulomatosis (WG), so I will need to clear the treatment plan with a couple of Drs. Although the MM and WG have caused me to have mini- strokes, brain surgery and have left me with a tracheostomy. fribromyalgis has been the most disabling. Thanks so much to all who have written to ask if our #1 son and wife in Mobile, AL are doing ok. Yes, we are very blessed. They married two weeks ago, have purchased and moved into their home near Mobile, AL. The couple, her grown son who lives with them, the family dogs and their home are all just fine after the storm. #1 says that they didn’t even lose any of their trees. They were here weekend before last and we had a great time. They had originally picked Sept 3 and a bar-b-q party at home in Mobile for their wedding, but decided to go ahead and get married. It is a real blessing that they did. They are without power, but so are many people throughout the area. Our hearts go out to all those who have lost loved ones, homes and jobs to Hurricane Katrina. Anne has a pal, Roger “Road King” Graham who is working for a movie services company in New Orleans. He had planned on being there through a couple of more films. I was not able to reach him by email. It would be nice to hear from him. Annie and Dale

“One thing I have learned after all these years, and through many letters that I receive, what works for one of us may not work for the other.” That is an old saw that doesn’t cut it anymore. What works for me is also working for hundreds and hundreds of others. “And that each of us is constantly looking for the ‘Fix’ that will make us well. Of course as much as we wish, we know we will never be well.” I am well. Hundreds of others are well. But if you want to stay sick, that’s an option. If you are sure you can never get better, I am sure you are right. Don’t try any simple free tricks to stop pain and move and think better. That would be a waste of time for you.

Hi Anne, Found your web site through an Email you sent to my address. Really enjoyed looking over your site. I am now going on my 35th. year of being ‘Blessed’ with Fibromyalgia. When I was FINALLY diagnosed, I went to the library and founf only 1 paragraph about ‘Fibrositis’..which it was called at that time. One thing I have learned after all these years, and through many letters that I receive, what works for one of us may not work for the other. And that each of us is constantly looking for the ‘Fix’ that will make us well. Of course as much as we wish, we know we will never be well. Without pain, even for short periods would make me ‘Proud as Punch’.I am so thrilled that what you are doing is working for you. I had to go to alternative methods of pain reduction 7 years ago when I became chemically senstive to most all meds, both prescribed and OTC. I’m happy to find there is much more research being done now in the past few years. Maybe not in my lifetime, but I do pray they will one day find a cure. Good luck to you. Glenda

Tonight the hit counter will probably pass 74,000. Thanks to all who continue to spread the word. On the last day, Jesus will say to those on His right hand, “Come, enter the Kingdom. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was sick and you visited me.” Then Jesus will turn to those on His left hand and say, “Depart from me because I was hungry and you did not feed me, I was thirsty and you did not give me to drink, I was sick and you did not visit me.” These will ask Him, “When did we see You hungry, or thirsty or sick and did not come to Your help?” And Jesus will answer them, “Whatever you neglected to do unto one of these least of these, you neglected to do unto Me!”
